Hi! Welcome to my Web site-- the closest I can get to visiting with you myself. And I wish I could. I'd like nothing better than to sit with you, sipping tea --or mochas! (Can you tell I'm from the Northwest?)

Even though most of us have never met, the bond of caring and concern we share makes me feel like we've always known each other.

If you've stopped by, you may be struggling with a difficult "not-so-perfect" relationship. It might be your spouse or another family member, co-worker, or even a friend who has challenged every ounce of your patience.

I never could have made it through the tough times without a loving and supportive network of friends. My prayer is that we can offer hope and encouragement to anyone who is feeling alone and without hope-- an on-line support group!

I'd love to have you send your encouraging words that we can share with others, and also any ways we can join in praying for you. May God give each of us the courage and strength to grow in our faith and our commitment to love others well.

Blessings!

The most inspirational people are those who have been in the trenches themselves. Married for over 30 years to an alchoholic husband, Deb Kalmbach isn’t just theorizing when she gives hope and practical solutions to those who struggle with difficult relationships.

Deb’s own brokenness has given her great compassion and insight for others who are hurting. With her vibrant and engaging manner, she speaks profoundly about God’s faithfulness and how to embrace a God-honoring life in the midst of almost unbearable circumstances.

Deb is the co-author of Because I Said Forever: Embracing Hope in a Not-So-Perfect Marriage and the author of a book for children, Corey’s Dad Drinks Too Much. Her articles have appeared in Focus on the Family, Moody, Christian Parenting Today, and many other publications.

She has been a guest on TV and radio programs and the co-host of a Seattle radio talk show. She is a graduate of Florence and Marita Littauer’s C.L.A.S.S. (Christian Leaders, Authors and Speakers Seminar).

Deb’s presentations become doubly powerful when she is joined by her husband, Randy. Together they speak openly about the healing and restoration of their marriage, and the hope of finding joy when a relationship seems hopeless. They combine their hard-won counsel with biblical principles for building relationships that last. Deb and Randy are available to speak to women, men or couples at a variety of events.

Deb and Randy make their home in Washington’s beautiful Methow Valley with their dog, Kramer, and cat, Nip. Their grown sons, Chris and Jeremy, live in the Seattle area.
